What the first film doesn't mention is that the night before they froze everybody's bank account, there was a long line of armored cars from the banks to the airport carrying cash to be transported to Barcelona. The rich were all warned the day before the freeze and allowed to take their much-needed capital out of Argentina. Everybody else was caught by surprise, the surprise being that they could not access their cash in the banks. Menon set up a plutocracy, a gov't by and for the rich. We have the same system; will we not suffer the same fate? Will we have as much courage as the mothers of the plaza?

Good point, Prof. Medaille. And I would add, will American workers take over and run their own workplaces after they are shut down and abandoned by the Bosses?

I am on #6 now... I am overwhelmed by the power of this video. I remember nothing of this time period. I recognize so much of the trend though. God help us...
