German Red Tape Needs Cutting

Just like in America and other nations, the two owners of a small burrito shop spent seven months filling out the proper forms and meeting bored and clueless bureaucrats.

With an 11% unemployment rate, a huge deficit and a declining population thanks to abortion and the Sexual Revolution, Germany needs all the help it can get. Angela Merkel, the new German leader, still has a long road to travel if she is even thinking of passing reforms to aid small business. Taking the chains off of small businesses and co-operatives is one major step in turning Germany toward a Distributist future. But it is a step that must be taken.
