Chav...Mr. Foote, insults do not an argument answer. Chavez IS a Marxist, and there is enough evidence on him on the Web to prove that.

Contrary to what you assert, Chavez is not trying to "mix capitalism and socialism". If you truly have read anything about Distributism, you would know that we would also oppose a capitalism-socialism mix. The dictator of Uganda, Idi Amin Dada, tried that - or claimed to try that - when he was running his country into the ground. History showed he was, shall we say, less than successful in his endeavor.

As for your claim of the USA invading Cuba and Venezuela, are you truly serious? With the American military spread out over 100 countries, and the Bush administration still aiming for Syria and Iran, such a twin invasion is ludicrous. It is more likely that this joint treaty will be used to aid each other in case of any future anti-Communist rebellion.

We have the examples of history to see that leaving Chavez alone will only lead Venezuela into misery...just like it has for Cuba under Castro, Zimbabwe under Mugabe, North Korea under the Kim dynasty and so on.

Finally, sir, I ask you to please be more careful in typing a reply. You wrote Marxist as "Maxsist" and crisis as "crissis".Roy F. Chave...Do you see commies under your bed at night? Chavez is not Maxsist, he is trying a new mix of capitolism and socialism. There is no hope for Cuba and Venezuela to invade the U.S. The threat is goes the other way. It´s good to see new things being tried.

The current state of crissis will not be changed by the same ideas that created it in the first place.

Let it be and see what happens.Chris Footehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14020335307068909840noreply@blogger.com
